How to Connect Your Wallet:
If you do not already have the polkadot{.js} extension, follow these instructions to download. Skip these steps if you have already installed it previously.
Download the extension for Chrome or Firefox.
4. Add the extension.
5. Follow instructions to finish setting up the extension.
6. Allow application access to Parallel Dapp.
7. Refresh the testnet page — https://testnet.parallel.fi/#/overview.
Adding a new account:
1. After installation, follow these instructions to add a new account if you don't have one to import. Click the polkadot extension icon:
2. Click the add icon to add your first account.
3. Write down your wallet’s mnemonic seed and keep it in a safe place. When you’re ready, tick off the check box and hit next.
4. Write a descriptive name for your account — this can be renamed later if needed.
5. Add a new password for your account and hit next.
6. You may also import an existing account by following the instructions in the menu.
7. Once your account is set up, go back to the testnet and refresh the page. In the upper corner, you should be able to see the connected account and switch between accounts if you have more than one.
Importing an existing account
If you have an existing account, you can import it by clicking on the polkadot{.js} extension and click the '+' button in the upper right corner.
You will need to have your pre-existing seed. Select the option 'Import account from pre-existing seed' and enter your mnemonic seed. Click next.
Write a descriptive name and select a password. Click next.
You should now be able to see your account in the polkadot{.js} 'Accounts' menu.
Refresh the testnet.parallel.fi testnet page and click on the account button in the upper right corner of the page to select a different account that you wish to use.
