How to Connect your Wallet

This page will show you the instructions to using the Polkadot{.JS} extension and connecting to your wallet.

One of the prerequisites to participating in the crowdloan is to install the Polkadot.JS extension on your Chrome or Firefox browser, so you can connect your wallet. Follow the instructions below to connect your wallet.

How to Connect Your Wallet:

1. Go to: https://polkadot.js.org/extension/.

2. Download the extension on the Chrome or Firefox browser.

3. Add the extension.

4. Follow instructions to finish setting up the extension.

5. Allow application access to Parallel.

6. Refresh the page —  https://app.parallel.fi/#/auction.

Add an account:

1. After installation, follow these instructions to add an account and connect your wallet.

2. Click the Polkadot{.JS} extension icon in your browser menu:

3. Click the add icon to add your first account.

4. Write down your wallet’s mnemonic seed and keep it in a safe place. When you’re ready, tick off the check box and hit next.

5. Write a descriptive name for your account — this can be renamed later if needed.

6. Add a new password for your account and hit next.

7. You may also import an existing account by following the instructions in the menu, via the 'Derive from an account' option.

8. Once your account is set up, refresh the page. In the upper corner, you should be able to see the connected account and switch between accounts if you have more than one.
